I haven't given too much thought to my wish list but a couple of things come to mind...

The following are not in preferential order just fyi

1. brown tights (not the same as leggings)

2. banana hair comb (I like tortoise shell/calico and preferably with a metal clasp - that's the part that always breaks on me)

3. I also like long interesting skirts....

4. One hubcap :( (or four if you're feeling generous)

5. denim shirt

6. some kind of earth godessy jewelry

7. Gilly Hicks gift card

Dear Secret Santa, I just came up with two other gift ideas that I'd enjoy getting for Christmas: three tall candles - 1 1.2 at base and about 16 to 24 inches tall, a personalized 5x6 notepad that has from the desk of Thom F. Cavalli, Ph.D., 714.972-0056 at the top, any color.

8. Gift Cards! SO useful as a broke college kid (J.CREW, Urban Outfitters, Department stores)

9. An on-call personal assistant to do my papers

Ok so here's the thing. I learned years ago not to ask my family for anything related to clothing, fashion, style, aesthetics of any sort, or taste, generally speaking. So now, despite my misgivings, I'm cautiously going to give it a try with family #2. I need a new wallet. I get one every 5 years or so and my current one is literally holding on by a thread; looking for black or dark brown leather, functional, minimal, well-designed with room for many conveniently accessible cards. Easier said than done.

If you are feeling extremely adventurous and want to try to get me a handsome evening wear shirt, more power to you; again I go for minimal design with a nice cut. Size Large, I'm skinny with long arms. This is probably not a good idea, but who knows, new family new possibilities!

I also want the Robert Johnson: King of the Delta Blues 3Lp Box set on Vinyl.

Okay, just so there is no mistaking me for Scrooge, I finally made it to this Xmas blog. We finally settled on the date for our family Christmas get-together: Thursday, Dec. 29th 1 pm. We'll have good food and croquet! I got my Secret Santa name - thank you Dhyandra for organizing this for us, it should be fun. Dhyandra and I would like to do a Secret Santa this year. What this means is that we will pull people's names from a hat and everyone will be assigned one person to get a gift for. Dhyandra is willing to pull the names and is sworn to secrecy. We can focus on one special person. What do you guys think?

4) Any yoga shorts size large from Lulu Lemon (black or purple) the tight short ones
5) A trip to the Amazon... we are going to try and go this January...Prob Eco lodge... we will see... we booked it so don't worry secret Santa we don't need this any more... but now Paris is on our list!
8) o000... our family to work things out or at least to fake it really well on X-mas :)
